Cheyenne is a Senior!!!

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of this beautiful young lady. She was so much fun to hang out with and seemed so comfortable in front of the camera which made it an easy photo shoot. Thank you Cheyenne and Congrats! Hope you cherish each moment of your senior year.

I love how the frame chalkboards came out, you can see them on my previous post.

Today’s Project: DIY Photo Prop

I have seen all these chalkboard ideas all over the internet, lots of  cool ideas for photo props. And I’ve been wanting to make one for a while and today I decided to do it! I made two small ones and I love them.

Let me know what you think, can’t wait to use them this weekend on my first maternity shoot.

Light up the Sky

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July, I had a great time with my family. We got to see these beautiful fireworks in Sanford, FL with front row seats. These were shot up to the sky from a friends backyard and we were just a few feet away, maybe a little too close. There were some moments where I thought someone was going to get hurt but thankfully we did not have an ER visits. Anyways,  here are my favorites from the evening, let me know if you like them. Thanks.

While I was editing these pictures I kept thinking of this song Light up the sky by The Afters. If you don’t know this song check it out Here.

Washington Oaks Garden State Park, Palm Coast, FL

My brother told me about this place and had showed me some photos online that were taken at this park, and they were awesome! So we ventured out to Palm Coast in search of this park and those awesome picture spots we saw online. So after dinner we headed out right before sunset. When we arrived we couldn’t find a park ranger to ask him where this beach was located. My brother had his phone ready with one of the great pictures he found online to ask the ranger, “Hi, where can we find this?” while pointing to his phone. So we parked and walked through this little path where we were greeted with tons of mosquito’s, i’m not exaggerating there were tons. But when we got to the end there was a pretty river but no beach. So we got back in the car and drove across the street and found the beach right before the sunset. We were able to grab a few shots but as luck would have it, it started raining and we had to run back to the car. And if you didn’t know it’s really hard to run  in the sand holding a camera and tripod. So that’s why there are only a few photos to enjoy. Thanks for stopping by.

That’s my brother, he got an awesome one you can see on Here, go check it out!

Delicious Fondue Party

Along with photography, music and teaching I also love chocolate. I mean who doesn’t, right?  My little cousin invited us over for a Fondue party last weekend and I was so excited about it cause chocolate is delicious! Moments after we arrived her home was quickly filled with that wonderful chocolate aroma like if you were in a chocolate factory or candy store. My mouth is watering just thinking of it. After lots of prepping cutting up fruits, pound cake, rice crispy treats  and many more dipping’s we enjoyed the super yummy fondue.

My cousin’s brother and sister in law enjoyed fondue with us.

Also my cousin just got a cute little pet bunny. He is so adorable and incredibly soft, his name is Peter Rabbit.

Weekend in Clearwater, FL

Last weekend my husband and I celebrated our 6th year anniversary. I can’t believe how the time flies, i know it sounds a bit clique but that’s truly how I feel, I really can’t believe it. God has blessed me tremendously with such an awesome husband and I hope and pray he blesses us with many more years together. Luckily my husband had the weekend off  (which has felt like a rare occasion) so we took a weekend trip to Clearwater, FL. It was wonderfully relaxing weekend with no agendas, no appointments and we just did what we pleased when we pleased. It was great! I absolutely loved watching the sunset over the ocean something I do not get to see here on the east coast. So I kind of went crazy taking pictures but I’ll only post a few so you don’t get bored.

At Peir 60 they have nightly sunset celebrations 2 hours before and 2 hours after sunset. They had street performers and artisans selling their creations, we saw a drummer that used buckets as his drums and  I thought he was pretty good and then we saw this acrobatic couple who were very impressive.

The Sunset at Ponce Inlet, FL

I took these last week when my brother was in town and we drove to Ponce Inlet to try and get some pictures of the sunset. And since it’s been a bit busy I just finished editing and posting. I just love how the wind made these ripples in the sand, so check out the rest and let me know what you think.
